Charity Home - Rumah Kebajikan Anbu Illam
Hello everyone! We would like to introduce one of the selected charity homes for Project Change Watt We Can 2018.
Rumah Kebajikan Anbu Illam is a home for the underprivileged boys registered with Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat and was formed in the year 1987 in Kuala Kubu Bharu by Persatuan Saiva Siddhanta, an association which is aggressively involved in aiding people from the underprivileged community. Currently nurturing 15 underprivileged boys.
Under Project Change Watt We Can 2018, Rumah Kebajikan Anbu Illam’s Wishlist items are 63 units of LED fluorescent tube light, 1 unit of refrigerator, 1 unit of Air-conditioner, 2 units of Cassette Aircon and 1 unit washing machine. With this, we believe that they will be able to achieve savings of approximately 30 % - 40% of their current monthly electricity bills and also help protect the environment. Creating a sustainable impact is the gift that keeps on giving. Money saved from the electricity bills can be used to improve other aspects of the lives of the less fortunate.
