Hello everyone! We would like to introduce one of the selected charity homes for Project Change Watt We Can 2018.
Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA) is a non-profit voluntary organization managed by an elected committee of interested persons and professionals in the community. MMHA was formed in 1967 by a group of mental health professionals and community leaders from University Hospital MMHA was officially registered under the Societies Act 1966 on 30th July 1968.
Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA)’s vision is to be the leading Malaysian Organization in Mental Health Services.
Under Project Change Watt We Can 2018, Malaysian Mental Health Association’s Wishlist items are 108 units of LED fluorescent tube light, 2 units of refrigerator and 12 units of Air-conditioner. With this, we believe that they will be able to achieve savings of approximately 30 % - 40% of their current monthly electricity bills and also help protect the environment. Creating a sustainable impact is the gift that keeps on giving. Money saved from the electricity bills can be used to improve other aspects of the lives of the less fortunate.
In 2006, TLC became the first social enterprise in Malaysia to use a corporate profit model to develop, manufacture and market the TLC brand of high quality household cleaning products to the public.
