Hello everyone! We would like to introduce one of the selected charity homes for Project Change Watt We Can 2018.

Befrienders is a not-for-profit organization providing emotional support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to people who are lonely, in distress, in despair and having suicidal thoughts - without charge.

Befrienders is multi-racial, non-religious and available to everyone, regardless of race, religion, age, gender or sexual orientation. All volunteers are trained and each conversation is treated as strictly confidential. You may remain completely anonymous; keeping your name private.

Under Project Change Watt We Can 2018, BefriendersKL’s Wishlist items are 147 units of LED fluorescent tube light, 1 unit of refrigerator and 13 units of Air-conditioner. With this, we believe that they will be able to achieve savings of approximately 30 % - 40% of their current monthly electricity bills and also help protect the environment. Creating a sustainable impact is the gift that keeps on giving. Money saved from the electricity bills can be used to improve other aspects of the lives of the less fortunate.
